Values

Values are an important barometer of character. While we respect every human being, we believe in doing business with people who respect the dignity of others and behave with integrity.

Every human being deserves respect, fairness, and to be treated with dignity. As communication and brand consultants, we hold ourselves to high standards. When working with you, we attempt to minimize confusion, cost, and the sense of loss that can come from shifting narrative after a given change. We expect that same respect, fairness, and dignity from clients. Thus, we ask you not to abuse our open door policy when it comes to initial consultations, follow up on trivial issues, or process times whose responsibility is outside our control.

We believe in and embrace the principles embodied in ancient wisdom: those of mutual aid, justice, and autonomy. These principles point to three fundamental freedoms: to move on, to disagree, and to re-arrange connections in the pursuit of purpose.

The pursuit of purpose and meaning is a fundamental part of the human experience. Each individual shall endeavor to live in an environment that supports his/her lifestyle, ambition, and aspirations. If that involves re-imagining a business narrative from the ground up, we are honored to assist you with that task.

We believe in telling the truth. Our intent is to assist clients who understand the value of being truthful. We will not assist anyone who seeks to engage in deceptive practices to secure a benefit. We believe in civility. We will not conduct business with people who exhibit unethical, rude, profane, or disrespectful behavior towards anybody. Our policy is of zero tolerance toward rude behavior and verbal or written harassment from a client. Unethical behavior is grounds for immediate termination of work and relationship.

We believe that work should be compensated. We don’t do business with people who expect something for nothing. While we attempt to keep our fees moderate, please take the time to consider the many years of training and experience needed to gain the knowledge and skill to help you, the costs associated with continuing education, our constant attempt to keep abreast of an ever-changing business and culture landscape, the need to subscribe to the tools necessary to perform the apparently simple task to render even simple advice. If you are not keeping this in mind, you will not appreciate our help and we ask that you refrain from requesting it.

We believe in knowledge. We constantly stay up to date on industry trends, attending continuing educations seminars, conferences, and reading the latest available resources so that you do not have to do it. Consider the advantages and potential costs savings associated with availing yourself of the knowledge of a skilled consultant who may spare you from committing potentially serious missteps along the way. Consider this experience an insurance policy and an investment in your future. We routinely see people whose lives were shattered by self-help, “improvised”, or by unscrupulous, incompetent or otherwise unethical consultants.

We believe in fostering a positive work environment. We try to develop a relaxed work environment and a personal and enjoyable relationship with each of our clients.  We believe that the human being comes first. In the ocean of visible and invisible technologies, we try never to forget the human story, and why it is so important to you as a client that we as consultants do the best possible job on your behalf. We do not want to ever forget that all these actions have human consequences, and to act accordingly.
